Petar while Chief Scientist at Silanna, has created the worlds-first Oxide Discovery Laboratories called picoFAB and QuFAB embedded within the University of Adelaide, Australia. Strategically developing Silanna’s quantum engineered semiconductors based on Gallium-Alluminum-Oxide and Complex-Oxide materials, devices and technology. These advanced Oxide materials are being created using custom engineered state-of-the-art Atomic-and-Molecular-Beam-Epitaxy (AMBE) tools. Silanna partnering with VEECO to develop the worlds-first triple chamber AMBE cluster system enabled rapid oxide discovery. A newly formed QuFAB targeting pilot production of device manufacture has also been created partnership between Silanna, University-of-Adelaide and the Australian Department of Defence. These activities have raised in excess of $30M and employ six full-time staff and three PhD candidates. (https://set.adelaide.edu.au/silanna/)
